Detailed itinerary
Day 1 : Pick up from Kigali airport and transfer to Akagera National Park
A guide will pick you from Kigali airport on day one and he will transfer you to Akagera National Park. You will have a stop over at Kigali genocide memorial with the aim of learning the history of Rwanda and the events that transpired during the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will have an enroute lunch and after you will proceed to Akagera National Park.

Day 2 : Game drive and boat cruise
You will engage in a fame drive very early in the morning at Akagera national park that will start with a briefing at the park headquarters and a guide will accompany you and you manage to see the wildlife in this park as it rises from their natural habitats. You will also have sights at others attractions apart from the wildlife while on the game drive. A guide will then rush you back to the lodge to have breakfast and rest.
You will rest and wait for lunch and once lunch is done, you will head to lake Ihema after briefing for about cruise. A guide will take you through all the activities and attractions offered at this lake and you will take about an hour while touring this lake on a boat ride. You will spot a number of aquatic animals and birds and it will leave you will memorable experiences. You will afterwards head to lodge and eat and after retire to bed.
Day 3 : Transfer to lake kivu for a boat ride
You will have breakfast and in the morning at the lodge and you will get to the headquarter after checking out. A guide will take you to lake kivu with a stopover for lunch at a hotel. You will proce6to lake kivu after lunch and you will engage in boat ride at this lake. You will be able to see a variety of bird species at this lake and also other stunning views and after you will retire to hotel where you will sleep for that night

Day 4 : Transfer to Volcanoes National Park for a hike to Mount Bisoke
In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred by the guide to Volcanoes National Park after checking out. You will check into a lodge at volcanoes national park and you will rest.

After having lunch at the lodge volcanoes national park you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing and then you acquire hiking still head fir a hike to Mount Bisoke that will take about 6 hours to ascend and descend. You will spot different birds and animals while hiking to the summit of Mount bisoke and you will be able to see the views of the park while at the summit and some neighboring virunga mountains.. You will after descend to the lodge and have dinner and night rest
Day 5 : Gorilla trekking and nature walk
You will have a gorilla trek on day 5 of the tour in volcanoes national park. You will start with breakfast and get transferred by a guide to the park headquarters for briefing where you will set off for a gorilla trek that will take you several hours. Once you spot the gorillas, you will be given an hour to stay with them and relate with them and also take memories by taking some pictures of them. After you will be transferred to the lodge fir lunch and later in the day you will embark on a nature walk.
While on the nature walk, you will see a variety of attractions in this park and you will also get a glimpse of some wildlife at a close distance since you will be trekking around. This walk will expose you to the natural attractions in the park and after a guide will lead you to the lodge for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 6 : Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Very early in the morning after breakfast at the lodge, a guide will transfer you to the park headquarters in volcanoes national park and you will receive guidelines on how to conduct a golden monkey and thereafter a guide will transfer you to the where you will carry out this activity from. You will take a couple of hours while searching for these playful primates and you will share an hour with them after finding them. The guide will also be available to answer your questions from your observations about the golden monkeys. You will after trek back to the park headquarters and a guide will take you back to the lodge and you will be served lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge at volcanoes national park and a guide will transfer you to Nyungwe National Park where you spend the night. When you get to Nyungwe, you will check into s lodge, settle in, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 7 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
While at Nyungwe National Park, you will have breakfast and you will set off with the guide to the headquarters to be briefed and after you will embark on a chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe forest at 6am in the morning with the aim of finding the chimpanzees and after you find them, you will study and observe them for an hour with the help of the guide and after you will take picture ls of them for memories. A guide will then transfer you back to the lodge to eat your lunch and relax for a while until you go for the next item.
In the late afternoon, you will go for briefing at the park headquarters and a guide will take you for a canopy walk afterwards on the bridge that is about 70m high and 160m. This walk will take you about 2 hours to complete it and while at the bridge, you will have the view6of the Nyungwe forest from the top and the landscapes plus the wildlife in this park. A guide will then escort you back to the lodge where you have your night rest and dinner.
Day 8 : Depart to Kigali airport
You will have breakfast at 8am when you wake up and you check out of the lodge after the breakfast. A guide will then transfer you from the lodge back to Kigali airport or at a hotel in Kigali it time is there, you will pass via Kimironko market and buy some souvenirs before getting to the airport or hotel.
