This is a 10 days safari to Akagera, Volcanoes and Nyungwe National Park safari for wildlife, nature and primate adventures. You will engage in many activities when you visit all three national parks in Rwanda.

Safari description
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali Airport to a hotel in Kigali
On day 1 of the safari, you will exchange greetings with our company guide when you meet at Kigali Airport. You will then head to Kigali city for a tour to Kimironko market, where you will be able to see the various commodities sold at this market. You will then go for a visit to the Kandt house museum.
You will then head to a hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Kigali genocide memorial and then head to a hotel in Kigali and check in. You will be served dinner, and you will retire to bed.
Day 2: Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park
On day 2, you will have breakfast and then leave the hotel. You will then head to the Rwanda Art Museum to see the art pieces that are in this museum. You will then be taken to lunch at a hotel. You will then head to Akagera National Park. You will arrive and check into a lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 3: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 3, you will have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive in Akagera National Park to spot the big five animals and several birds. Apart from the big five animals, you will also spot other animals. You will spend 4 hours on the morning game drive, and then you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema. The boat cruise will take approximately 1 hour. You will spot hippo, crocodiles and many more. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On day 4, you will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will link up with the guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. You will check into a lodge at Volcanoes National Park upon arrival, and you will have lunch.
You will spend the afternoon at the lodge, and later in the day, you will have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking
On day 5, you will have an early morning breakfast and then go for gorilla trekking after a briefing. You will have the company of an armed ranger guide while searching for the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas in their habitats and take videos and pictures of them. You will return to the lodge for lunch, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Golden monkey trekking and hike to Dian Fossey Tomb
On day 5, you will have an early morning breakfast and then go for the golden monkey trekking after the briefing. You will have the company of an armed ranger guide while searching for the golden monkeys. You will spend one hour with the gorillas in their habitats and take videos and pictures of them. You will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a hike to Dian Fossey’s Tomb to have views of where Dian Fossey was buried. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Hike to Mount Bisoke
On day 7, you will have breakfast and then go for a hike to Mount Bisoke. The hike to Mount Bisoke takes approximately 6 hours to ascend and descend. You will spot numerous attractions while hiking Mount Bisoke, and after the hike, you will return to the lodge for lunch, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
On day 8, you will have breakfast, and you will check out of the lodge. The guide will then transfer you to Nyungwe National Park, where you will check into a lodge for lunch, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking and a canopy walk
On day 9, you will have breakfast in the morning, and then you will go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for a chimpanzee trek and spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a canopy walk at the suspended bridge to see the wildlife, nature, plant species and many more at the 160m long and 70m high suspended bridge. You will then go back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Depart for Kigali Airport
As soon as you are done with breakfast at the lodge on day 10, you will leave the lodge, and the guide will transfer you back to Kigali Airport.
