Detailed itinerary
Day 1 : Pick up and transfer to Akagera National Park for a boat cruise at lake Ihema
Our representative guide will meet you at your location in Kigali and transfer you to inema arts center where you will have a glimpse at the amazing and beautifully painted art pieces at this center and after the guide will take you for a lunch meal at a hotel in Kigali.
You will head to Akagera National Park after lunch and you will be briefed at the park offices upon arrival, you engage in a boat cruise activity at lake Ihema with the guide6snd you will have a glimpse at the various ecosystems ay lake Ihema. You will see the aquatic animals like hippos and crocodiles and other animals at the shores taking water like the elephants, buffaloes and many more. This will take you one hour and you will be transferred to the lodge where you will stay a night. You will get served with dinner and you head to bed to rest

Day 2 : Morning game drive and transfer to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walk
You will have breakfast on day 2 and you will be driven by the guide to the park headquarters. You will head to the morning game drive after a briefing session and you will be able to see a number of animals and a guide will guide you on everything that you will spot. Some of the animals that you will see include the elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, oribi, impala, bush pigs and many more.
You will retire to the lodge after the game drive and have lunch and then after check out. You will be transferred by the guide to the location where you will stay that night and that is Nyungwe National Park

Day 3 : Bird watching
On day 3, you will have breakfast at your own pace5abd then a guide will link up with you at the lodge and transfer you to the headquarters for briefing. You will conduct a bird watching activity in the various birding trails in Nyungwe National Park and some of the birding trails include the kamiranzonvu trail, Gisakura trail, karambi trail, bigugu trail and many more. You will spot birds like great blue turaco, yellow eyed black flycatcher, red collared babbler, handsome francolin, kungwe apalis, stripe breasted tit, Albertine owlet, kivu ground thrush and many more. You will then be transferred to the lodge for lunch and rest for the rest of the day.
Day 4 : Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you will head with the guide for briefing at the park offices and then you will head to Nyungwe forest for a chimpanzee trek. You will also spot other animals apart from the chimpanzees as you trek through the forest. You will then spend tine with the chimpanzees after finding them and that will be approximately 1 hour where you will take photos of every moment with them and after you will return to the lodge with the guide.
You will have lunch and the lodge and check out and after head to Volcanoes National park. You will report at the park office when you arrive at you get yourself a lodge where you will spend the night and at the lodge you will be availed with dinner.

Day 5 : Gorilla trekking
At 6:30am of day 5, you we will be at the park headquarters after having breakfast. You will be taken through the do’s and don’ts while carrying out a gorilla trek and you will head with the ranger guide to find the gorillas. You spend one hour with the habituated gorillas and you will witness how they feed, play and behave and you will be able to capture these moments. You will then trek back to the starting point and the guide will transfer you back to the lodge for lunch.
You will rest after having lunch and at the end of the day in the evening, you will head for dinner and then retire to bed.
Day 6 : Hike to Mount Bisoke
On day 6, you will have breakfast in the morning at 8 am and a guide will meet up with you at the lodge and transfer you to the park offices to be briefed on how to conduct a hike to Mount bisoke and the requirements to carry it out. After the briefing, you will have a ranger guide who will rake you to the hike and while hiking Mount bisoke, you w3come across the animals and birds species including the vegetation and once you get to the summit, you will sight the neighboring volcanic mountains and you will descend back for approximately 2 hours with the ascending hours of about 4 making it s total of 6 hours. You will be taken to the lodge for lunch and then you freshen up and rest.
In the evening, you will have dinner and retire to bed.
Day 7 : Depart to Kigali airport
You will have breakfast and check out of the lodge before you head to Kigali airport. You will have a stopover at Iby’iwacu cultural center fir a cultural visit and you will gather information about the Rwandese culture and traditions and then proceed to Kigali airport for your flight.
