This is a 2 days Volcanoes National Park tour that will take place in Rwanda. This short 2 days tour will take you to Volcanoes National Park, which is one of Rwanda’s national parks that is famous for sheltering the mountain gorillas. You will first have a city tour in Kigali before heading to Volcanoes National Park. You will visit the Rwanda Art Museum and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. You will then embark on a 2-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will participate in a gorilla trek. After the gorilla trek, you will be taken back to a hotel of your choice in Kigali.

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On the first day of the tour, you will be picked up from a hotel of your choice in Kigali. You will head to the Rwanda Art Museum for a visit, and you get a glance at the art pieces at the Rwanda Art Museum. After exploring the Rwanda Art Museum, you will head to a hotel in Kigali for lunch.
After having lunch, you will have a brief visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, and then the guide will drive you to Volcanoes National Park. It will take you approximately 2 hours to get there, and then you will check into a lodge upon arrival. You will have dinner at the lodge, and you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer back to Kigali
On the last day of the tour, you will have breakfast very early in the morning, and the rest of you will be taken for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will be briefed by the park wardens about gorilla trekking, and after being allocated a Rwanda gorilla family to meet, you will head to the forest for gorilla trekking. You will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours to spot the Rwanda gorillas, and after spotting them, you will spend 1 hour with them. You will have a chance to see them carry out their activities like playing, feeding, breastfeeding and many more. You will take pictures, and then you will head back to the lodge.
You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out. After checking out while on a Rwanda safari, you will be transferred back to Kigali
