Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On day 1 of the 5 days Rwanda gorillas and wildlife safari, you will interact with the guide who will link up with you at Kigali Airport and take you through a short briefing session. You will, after getting briefed, head for a city tour to visit tourist destinations like the Kigali Genocide Memorial to get awareness about the 1994 Rwanda genocide and also have a glance at the remains of the people who took part in the Rwanda genocide.
You will head to the Rwanda Art Museum for a glimpse of the wonderful art pieces designed by the artists of Rwanda, and you will get to see the culture, traditions, and history of Rwanda in these art pieces. You will then proceed to lunch at the hotel in Kigali. After the lunch meal, you will head for an approximately 2-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will have dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
On day 2 of the 5 days Rwanda gorillas and wildlife safari, you will have your breakfast after having your bath very early in the morning, and then you will head for a briefing at the park headquarters about the activity to be carried out. On this second day of the safari, you will conduct a gorilla trek that will be conducted with the assistance of a ranger guide who will direct you to the trails to follow. You will trek for several hours, and after locating the gorillas, you will have to stay with them for only one hour. You will also encounter other primates and wildlife as you search for the gorillas.
You will, after the one-hour enjoyment, observation, and lecture from the guide, head back to the lodge for lunch, and you will stay at the lodge for the rest of the day till dinner time. At dinner time, you will eat as you interact with the guides and then retire to bed.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking and transfer to Akagera National Park
You will be given breakfast at the lodge very early in the morning. You will proceed with the guide from the lodge to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be told how you are going to carry out a golden monkey trek and its requirements. You will then head out with the guide and trek for several hours till you find the golden monkeys. You will stay for an hour with the golden monkeys after spotting them. The guide is responsible for giving all the details concerning the golden monkeys, and you will find out how these primates behave just by observing them. After one hour, you will have captured many moments and pictures. The guide will take you for lunch at the lodge.
You will check out of the lodge after lunch, and the guide will transfer you to Akagera National Park, where you will spend your night with a dinner meal that will be provided to you at the lodge that you will choose to stay in.

Day 4: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On the 4th day, you will have an early morning breakfast before you head to the park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you will be briefed, and you will go for a morning game drive with a guide. On this drive, you will get to see the wildlife rising from their habitats, and you will also have other experiences and views of other attractions in the park. This drive takes about 5 hours, and after it, you will be taken back to the lodge for lunch, and you will rest for some time.
After resting for some time, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing, and you will head for a boat trip at Lake Ihema with the guide at 3 pm. This boat trip will take about an hour, and you will be able to have a glance at the various ecosystems at this lake.
