This is a 3 days Nyungwe tour that takes place in Rwanda in Nyungwe National Park. On the 3 days Nyungwe tour, you will engage in Chimpanzee trekking, canopy walk and a nature walk in Nyungwe National Park. On the first day, you will visit to Kigali genocide memorial.

Detailed itinerary for a 3 days Nyungwe Tour
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and transfer to Nyungwe National Park
At the start of the safari on day one, you will meet and greet with a guide at Kigali Airport. You will be guided on the tour, and then the guide will transfer you to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. At the Kigali Genocide Memorial, you will tour around while getting views of the remains of the people who engaged in the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will then be told about what took place during the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will then head to a hotel in Kigali for lunch.
The guide will transfer from the hotel after lunch, and you will head to Nyungwe National Park. You will arrive and check into a lodge. You will freshen up at the lodge and then have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a canopy walk
On the 2nd day of the tour, you will be served breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will get the knowledge from the guides on how to conduct yourself during a chimpanzee trek. You will then get a guide and set off for the chimpanzee trek. The chimpanzee trek will take place in Nyungwe forest, and you will spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours while on a chimpanzee trek trying to find the chimpanzees. After spotting them, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them. You capture pictures and observe their behaviours. You will then go back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred from the lodge by a guide, and then you will go for a canopy walk. The canopy walk will take place on the suspended bridge. The bridge is approximately 70m high and 160m long. You will take about 2 hours while on the canopy walk, and you will observe the park’s wildlife, Nyungwe forest and many more while at the bridge. You will then get back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 3: Nature walk and transfer back to Kigali Airport
On the last day of the tour, you will have breakfast and then go for a nature walk in Nyungwe National Park. You will be able to spot several birds and primates while in Nyungwe National Park. After the nature walk, you will head back to the lodge, relax and then have lunch.
After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and then be transferred to Kigali Airport for your flight.
